How to send cryptocurrencies?

Sending cryptocurrencies via Mercury Iconex is easy, safe and fast. **

Here are the steps for our users:

Log In to your Private Account:

Go to our website and click on "Start Trading" and select Login on our exchange.

If you have not yet created an online account, we advise you to do so.Check out our Knowledge Base article "How to start or open an account" for the necessary steps.

Log in with your registered username and password.
Complete the two-factor authentication (2FA) if required.

Navigate to the E-Wallet or Balance Section:

Look for the "E-Wallet" or "Wallet" section.
Click on this to get an overview of the available cryptocurrencies on Mercury Iconex.

Select the Cryptocurrency you Want to Send:

Click on the cryptocurrency you want to send (e.g. Bitcoin, Ethereum or Suriname Reserve Digital Currency).
Click on the "Withdrawal" or "Send" option,

Enter the Receiving Address:

Enter the wallet address of the recipient in the appropriate bar.
Select the correct network address if necessary (ERC20, TRC20, BEP20, Polygon). Each network has its own advantages. Consult with the recipient which network applies.
Copy and paste the address carefully to avoid typos or scan the barcode of the receiving account.
Double check the address to make sure it is correct.

Cryptocurrencies sent to incorrectly entered wallet addresses will be lost completely.These cryptocurrencies cannot be traced back. So check the address multiple times before executing the transaction.

Enter the Amount to Send:

Enter the amount you want to send.
Check that you have enough funds to cover the transaction and any transaction fees.

Check the Transaction Details:

View the details of the transaction, such as the receiving address and the amount.
Also check the estimated transaction costs (fees).

Cryptocurrencies sent to the wrong network or if the cryptocurrency choice of the sender and receiver does not match, will be lost.These cryptocurrencies cannot be traced back. So check the transaction details multiple times before executing the transaction.

Confirm the Transaction:

Click the "Send" or "Submit" button.
Depending on your personal settings, you may be asked to enter your 2FA code and complete an email confirmation.

Wait for Confirmation:

Once the transaction is sent, it will be processed by the blockchain.
This may take some time, depending on the traffic on the cryptocurrency network.

Check the Status of your Transaction:

You can track the status of your transaction via the "Transaction History" section of Mercury Iconex.
You can also use a blockchain explorer to view the progress (e.g. Blockchain.com for Bitcoin and Etherscan for ERC20 tokens or alternative coins).

Extra Tips:

Take Care of Security: Never share your sensitive data, such as passwords. Always use 2FA for extra security.

Address Verification: Always make sure the receiving address is correct. A mistake can lead to loss of funds. If possible, use the QR code scanning function to avoid mistakes.

Transaction Fees: Be aware of transaction fees, which may vary depending on the cryptocurrency and network activity.
